Cutting and Mechanical Prefabrication
We order our material almost exclusively in manufacturing lengths. This saves expensive cutting costs and we are flexible in applying the material as our product range with about 10.000 different articles is very extensive. There are 3 saws used to adjust the steel bar according to processing lengths.
For the rough prefabrication of our knives, we use the old stock of our traditional conventional and NC-controlled milling machines. In that way the parts are rough-worked cost-efficiently and can then be further processed in the CNC department or the hardening shop.
